You have to follow some basic steps to use a fondue pot.
First you have to adjust fondue pot on a heat-resistant, flat, solid surface, which is very stable. Use liquid or denatured fuel, which is particularly made for fondue pots.
Use only three ounces of denatured fuel to avoid flames excessively. If any fuel spill occurs, wipe out with a wet rag. Keep the burner steadily at the fondue stand. Pour the required liquid in the pot and use cheese, meat, and wine. Light the burner using a match, but not a lighter.
With the help of burner handle, set the height of flame. Maintain the flame for some time and let the fondue boil. After a while, remove the top of the fondue pot and serve it hot. It is very delicious and healthy. However, there are some risks involved for those who are obese, and/or have high levels of cholesterol in the blood. And, such patients must avoid eating dishes like Fondue.
